Church membership is simply a way of saying, "I am committed to seeing my church be all that God intends for it to be."
Here at Columbia Crossroads Northeast, we view membership more as ownership. People value what they own. We believe that if people take ownership in the church, they will bring their energies and resources to bear to make it the best church possible. Membership also gives church leaders permission to come along side its members to help them grow in Christ-likeness and to find a place of service.
If you are interested in church membership, the best place to start is by going to Connections and to attend a Taste of Community. If you feel God is leading you to become a member of CCNE, just complete a brief membership application and hand it in to any of our greeters or ministry team leaders. Once we have your application we will call you to set up a time to meet with a couple of church leaders. This gives us an opportunity to get to know each other better, and for you to get answers to any questions you might have.
The final step is simply to covenant with the rest of the Body at an upcoming Sunday Service.
